Danell Lytell is a professional studio artist and the founder of “Lines Ocean Art” .

She has an art studio in The Naples Art District of Naples, Florida where she enjoys the beautiful tropical seaside lifestyle. Her inspiration and style often change as she moves through different seasons of life, but her main muse is the concept of playfulness, in whatever way that manifests. She is heavily influenced by exciting ocean patterns, contrasting bright colors, and innovative surface design. 

Danell is originally from Dayton, Ohio, she moved to Florida as a young girl. Her dream to become a professional artist started at age of 19. As a self-taught artist, she practiced drawing and painting from a very young age which developed into creating oil paintings at age 20. At age 22, she started working as a freelancer artist taking side jobs. Soon after, she was accepting commissions to paint murals and faux finish. She loved it and felt it was a natural calling.  Years later in 2021, Danell decided to dedicate all of her time to full-time art starting with building a working studio in The Naples Art District.

Danell Lytell continues to inject her personality and passion into an evolving portfolio of beautiful design, colors, and unique ocean artwork, proving herself an excellent representative for the millennial generation in the Industry. To her, art is her language and it speaks for itself. Think about how powerful using that theory is, enabling her to speak to everyone through her artwork without uttering a single word. She thrives in moments when she exists in a creative state to balance out the negative. She wishes to promote a positive and honest imprint on those who interact with herself and her art.

Danell’s vision is an exciting workspace that visitors and clients are welcomed into with well-presented art for purchase. She also hosts events by The Naples Art District at her studio. She is now working on sharing her art with a wide range of clients locally and nationally, and eventually internationally. Her first public art showing was in 2019 as an exhibitor at the Naples Art von Liebig Center. Since then, her art has been seen in multiple public shows and with designer Tiffany Brooks on HGTV in 2021.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Art for me is therapy, my lifeline, and language to communicate with the world without a need to say anything. After coming to Florida, I was enchanted by the ocean and its unspoken power. Ever since ocean motives emerge in my artworks to commemorate my eternal love for the ocean. 

ABOUT THE ART

Danell’s artwork is multifaceted much like the dynamic nature of the human spirit body and soul. She offers an array of paintings in her studio gallery, custom commissioned art, and murals of any size. Her capabilities range from realistic art and portraits to playful abstract art. The Artists and Influencers who inspired her a lot like Bob Ross, Genie Kell through the study of Monet and Georgia O'keeffe, Richard Kirk through the study of portrait painting, and Douglas David through the study of floral art.

In addition to building her studio, Danell also shares her talents as an artist with other students through being an art teacher. Danell offers private or small group lessons upon request for art enthusiasts or intermediates. These can be targeted for something specific. For example, a beach scene, or how to accomplish expressing yourself with freedom. She sees the world through a different lens and wants to encourage the same in new, aspiring, and seasoned artists alike.

My passion is to share my love and intimate connection with the ocean and create art that instills a sense of wonder in the beauty of creation, presented in a gallery that conveys an atmosphere of excellence and is staffed by happy, motivated art consultants who focus on an excellent client experience.

VISION

Through art, I envision to contribute, in a positive way, to the betterment of our culture and inspire our ocean-minded community to appreciate the gift of life. My love for the ocean has given me hope and clarity. It's our responsibility to conserve our coastlines so we can continue to draw inspiration from the sea.
